The feelings & movement completely surround you, sometimes breezy, sometimes cold, other times warm. Unexpected wonders fly by, sometimes full of colour & sometimes full of noise & movement.
If we really want children to thrive we need to let their connection to nature nurture them.

A Day at Pukekos

Dear Family

Ever wondered what I am learning all day long? This is the routine of my day in the pre-school at Pukekos and here is what I am learning when I am involved in all these activities. My teachers know that developing new skills takes time, so they are patient with me and let me explore new ideas at my own pace. They also know that whatever activity I seem to be interested in is just perfect for my own individual level of development. They don’t compare me to other children or have extreme expectations of me. Being in a fun place like this helps me develop and get ready for the next level , school. (If I was ready to be at school, I would be there already, but my teachers know that there is so much for me to learn before I get there, that is why they provide such amazing experiences for me to do at Pukekos!

Our Team

Our role as teachers centers on provoking occasions of discovery through a kind of alert, inspired facilitation and stimulation of children's dialogue co-action and co-construction of knowledge.

Firstly we have 2 neat teams that work together in either centre. Students and officials alike always comment on our teamship & how awesome it is to spend time with us. We're fun!

Our Centres

Our centres are really well resourced creative & relaxed environments, where we encourage intuitiveness, imagination, and fun for our children , their parents & ourselves ! We are checked out by many centres and individual teachers for our environment set ups, and our simple effective programming.
